I am interested in places of  “Non-Lieux” where there is no possible settlement. They are zones of passage, mixts and unstables in their nature or their culture. Those zones are interchangeable from a country to another as the aiports of Fischli and Weiss.

At the age of nineteen, I uprooted myself from the city where I was born to immigrate.

Those pictures have been taken during a visit, on different lines of transportation. For me, they are an attempt of communication with the city I left and with the question of the exile.
